Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Pix Delivery uses to provide event-photo delivery to photographers and guests.

Last updated: 2 October 2026

In brief: Studios upload event photographs. Guests who choose to register provide a WhatsApp number, verify it with a code and scan their face to find their photos for that event. A private gallery link can then be sent by WhatsApp. Face matching is limited to the event for which the guest registers.

1. Who operates this service

Pix Delivery provides tools for photographers and event studios to upload, organise and deliver event photographs. For questions about this policy or your information, contact admin@pixdelivery.com. A photographer or event organiser may separately decide which photographs to capture and upload; contact them as well if your request concerns their original photographs or event arrangements.

2. Information we handle

WhatsApp verification codes are generated for short-lived verification. We do not ask you to send us your WhatsApp password.

3. Why we use it

Guest face matching is optional: a guest chooses whether to register a face for an event. A guest should not register someone else's face without their permission.

4. Who receives information

The relevant studio can access and manage its event photographs. A guest with a valid private gallery link can access the matching photographs in that gallery; anyone the guest forwards that link to may also be able to use it until it expires. We use service providers for cloud photo storage, WhatsApp messaging and payment checkout, including Cloudflare R2, Meta/WhatsApp and a payment provider where applicable. They process information to provide those services under their own terms and safeguards. We may disclose information where required by law or to protect the service and its users.

5. Face data and gallery access

A guest's face scan is converted into a numerical descriptor for matching. The descriptor is associated with that guest's registration for one event; registrations are not matched across unrelated events. Event photographs may themselves contain faces of attendees. A gallery link is an access credential: keep it private and do not post it publicly. Newly created gallery links are configured to expire after 90 days. Link expiry does not automatically delete photographs, account records or face descriptors.

6. How long we keep information

We keep studio accounts, event photographs, guest registrations, face descriptors and service records while they are needed to operate the event service or meet applicable legal, payment and security obligations. The current service does not set a single automatic deletion date for all event photographs or face descriptors. Studios can delete events and photos through available tools; guests and studios can request deletion as described on our Data Deletion page. Some records may need to be retained where the law requires it or for a legitimate unresolved dispute.

7. Security and your choices

We use account authentication, event-specific matching and token-based gallery access. No website or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Guests may choose not to register for face matching. To ask about, correct or delete information associated with you, email admin@pixdelivery.com; we may verify your identity before acting. See Data Deletion for what to include in a request.

8. Children, changes and contact

Studios and organisers should have the permissions needed to upload event photos, including any permissions required for children. A parent or guardian should contact us and the event organiser if a child's data needs attention. We may update this policy as the service changes; the date above shows the latest version.
